To access the property, guests will cross a low-water crossing that extends over Pierce Creek, a seasonal creek that runs alongside the front of the house.

Constructed by a Wimberley couple in 1985, Paper Moon is a spacious log cabin that has been recently renovated while retaining its rustic charm. It is perfect for family gatherings or friends seeking a tranquil retreat. Whether you want to shop and dine in Wimberley or relax and unwind in the cabin\’s peaceful setting, Paper Moon offers it all. You can watch deer grazing from the porch while sipping your morning coffee or enjoy a family BBQ on the large covered deck. The hot tub and fire pit are also available for your relaxation.

Paper Moon is well-equipped with all the modern comforts of home while providing the added privacy of a country getaway. It features two bathrooms, two bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with a queen bed), and a semi-private loft bedroom with a queen-sized bed. While the Pierce Creek Low Water Crossing is designed to allow water to flow gently over the road, it is crucial to remember that during extreme rain, the water level can rise. Guests should exercise caution while crossing the creek, particularly during these times. However, this only occurs a few times a season, and the water usually returns to its normal level an hour or so after the rain stops.

The dining room features a corner nook table with a bench seat. We have a washer and dryer in the closet to the right of the table, as well as a pantry with a microwave.
